What to snack on that isn’t full of sugar, inflammatory fats or empty calories is a question I get asked often.

Here are some ideas, with some recipe links. Some are crunchy, others are comforting, some are sweet and others are more filling.

Savoury snacks

Cup of raw veggies (don’t knock it til you’ve tried it - crunchy, filling and quite yum)

Dip like roasted carrot, pumpkin, sunflower seed or beetroot humous with seed crackers or veggie sticks

Meatballs

Sweet potato crisps

Hot sweet potato chips

Boiled egg

Devilled eggs

Half a handful of mixed nuts and seeds
