Food intolerances can cause reflux

Research shows that people with reflux or gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), respond well to identifying and removing food sensitives from their diet.

Food sensitivities involve an immune response by the body, but not a full allergic one.

How do you work out what you might be sensitive to that’s casing your reflux?

By doing a simple exclusion diet, or IgG / IgA / IgM food sensitivity testing.

An exclusion diet doesn’t have to be long and involved.

Perhaps you already suspect some foods from past reactions?

Or maybe you just need to start excluding common food sensitivities ONE BY ONE like…

  • Gluten

  • Dairy

  • Chocolate

  • Coffee

  • Processed oils and margarines

  • Brewer’s yeast

  • Eggs

  • Peanuts

  • Pork

But there can be many more. And commonly, people have more than one food sensitivity.

Often gut healing can help in the longer term, as can improving your digestive processes by including some Betaine HCl and/or digestive enzymes to help you break down your foods better.
