Which are more nutritious? Fruit or vegetables?

We often lump fruit and veggies together when we consider healthy foods.

But they differ.

Fruits are typically sweeter, higher in natural sugars and calories, and offer hydration along with vitamins like Vitamin C and potassium. They are often easier to digest and provide quick energy.

Vegetables are generally more nutrient-dense, offering a broader range of vitamins, minerals and fibre. They are lower in calories and sugars, making them ideal for weight management and long-term health.

Bang for your buck, or nutrient density wise, vegetables win!

But both fruits and vegetables can contribute to overall health depending on our individual situation, but they serve different roles and should be consumed in variety for the best nutritional outcomes.
