20 low-oxalate snack ideas
It can be a struggle to find interesting and delicious snacks when you’re eating low oxalate, especially if you’re also dairy free. So I came up with some ideas. I hope you enjoy them!
Guacamole or smashed avocado with veggie sticks like cucumber, snow peas, sugar snap peas and red capsicum
Yoghurt (coconut or full fat cow/sheep/goat) and fruit like apple, strawberries, pear, mango, nectarine and blueberries with pumpkin seeds and cranberries
A boiled egg with veggie sticks
Rice cakes with butter or avocado and chemical free ham
Prosciutto wrapped around asparagus (freshly cooked or tinned/jarred)
Strawberry or blueberry smoothie made with coconut milk, collagen, ice and an optional veggie like cos lettuce, cauliflower, bok choy
Fruit pieces like nectarines, mango, citrus, plum, lychee, strawberries, blueberries, melon, papaya with lime
1/2 palm of tail mix made from pumpkin , watermelon and sunflower seeds with raisisn, cranberries and coconut flakes

A cup of iceberg or cos lettuce holding a tin of wild caught tuna mixed with mayonnaise and spring onions
Cold leftover meatballs
Cup of bone broth with konjac or rice noodles and shopped spring onions
