Pick-me-up smoothie

If you are looking to start the week with a bang, why not give this smoothie a go? It’s packed with all the goodness you need to make you feel good inside and outside. MCT oil with fuel your brain and body, coconut water is mother nature’s electrolyte, avocado will give you a boost of vitamins B6 , E, K and C, and banana contains high amounts of potassium which is important for our metabolism.

NOTES

If you don’t have coconut water, you can use nut milk or filtered water instead

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp MCT oil or coconut oil

  • 1/2 ripe avocado

  • 1 frozen banana or ripe banana

  • 1 cup baby spinach

  • 1¼ cup coconut water

  • 2-3 Ice cubes

  • Raw honey to taste, optional

  • 1 tbsp collagen, optional

DIRECTIONS

Place all the ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Add more ice-cubes if the smoothie is too thick.

Serve immediately
