Healing and immune-boosting drink

Disease is always around us, so we need to keep our body’s internal terrain strong and resistant. This is a delicious, immune supporting drink to help us stave off, and heal from viruses and infections. One of my children wouldn’t come at the idea of drinking this, but after trying it, thought it was delicious.

PREPARATION TIME

YIELDS

1 teapot, 2-3 cups

INGREDIENTS

1 nob of grated ginger

2 garlic cloves, crushed

2 tsp raw honey (Manuka if you like)

1 lemon, juiced

Optional, add 1 nob of fresh or 1 tsp dried turmeric for an anti-inflammatory boost

Hot water

directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a teapot

  2. Fill with hot water and let steep for 5 minutes before straining and sipping
