Get gas after eating plants, or have post-antibiotic digestion problems? Could be low Bifidobacterium (our starter microbe)

Struggling with bloating, experieince gas after eating plants, or have post-antibiotic digestion issues?

Bifidobacteria colonise the distal small intestine and colon, breaking down fibre into components (acetate and lactate) that feed other beneficial microbes. This species is our foundational starter.

Low Bifidobacterium can cause gas, bloating, constipation, reflux, and weaker microbial networks.

High Bifidobacterium usually reflects a strong foundational gut ecosystem. There is no evidence that high levels are harmful in healthy adults.

Support Bifidobacteria by eating prebiotic foods (onion, garlic, asparagus, kiwi), polyphenols (veggies, berries, cocoa, apples), and probiotics tat target bifidobacteria if needed.
