Chocolate breakfast smoothie

This lo-carb, keto smoothie is a good get-up-and-go breakfast or meal replacement with plenty of healthy fats to keep your energy steady for hours and anti-oxidants for cell health. Throw in a handful of greens if you like such as baby spinach, bok choy, cos lettuce or silverbeet.

INGREDIENTS

1 - 1 ¼ cups full-fat coconut milk

½ avocado

1 tbsp nut butter of choice e.g. macadamia, almond, brazil nut, cashew

1 tbsp chia seeds

2 tsp cacao nibs, or raw cacao powder

1 tbsp coconut oil

Ice

Cacao nibs and/or cinnamon for the topping

¼ cup water, if needed

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add contents into a high-powered blender, blending until well combined, adding water for consistency if needed

  2. Top with cacao nibs and cinnamon
